Mohammed Riaz has been building financially inclusive business models for Bharat for the past 20 years. An alumnus of Hindu Collage, Delhi University and Delhi School of Economic, he has been in sales & marketing for the past 30 years.
He has worked for brands like Nilkamal, Aviva & Basix . He has been a part in building large scale disruptive distribution models example – Banassurnace in 2000, Micro Insurance 2002, Common Service Centers (CSC) – 2011, Last mile delivery by shopkeeper for ecommerce – 2015. He launched his own Fintech Startup in 2017 to be a pioneer in channel financing on rail roads of the public financial API infrastructure in India. Xtracap Fintech has been incubated under Bharat Inclusion Initiative, CIIE.CO, IIM Ahmedabad and was awarded top 50 Inclusive Fintech Award – in 2021.
