* Mr. Balvinder Kumar, is a 1981-batch IAS officer (Retd) of Uttar Pradesh cadre. Presently, he is a member of Real Estate Regulatory Authority, UP. He was also the Vice Chancellor of SGT University in Gurgaon before joining his present assignment. Besides, being a bureaucrat, he pursue other passions like painting and writing. He is a teacher and regular practtioner of meditation too. He has worked in various positions of responsibility, including Additional Secretary - Ministry of Agriculture, Food and civil supplies, Principal secretary in the Departments of Social welfare and Taxation etc.
